This page states, in plain words, what the information on this website can and cannot do.
Cost figures are guides
Every price range on this site is a 2026 Florida guide drawn from published industry sources and stated as a range for planning. Your property’s price depends on the size of the problem, the materials affected, and the moisture source, and it is set only by a written scope after an inspection. No page on this site is a quote.
Health content is general information
Statements about mold and health on this site reflect the published positions of the CDC and the US EPA. They describe what those agencies say about mold in general. They are not a diagnosis of your home or your health, and Gainesville FL Mold Removal does not provide medical advice. Consult a medical professional about symptoms or health decisions.
Testing results are data
Lab results report spore counts and species in samples taken at a point in time. There are no federal standards that declare a home safe or unsafe based on a spore count, and no page on this site claims otherwise. Results are interpreted with an inspection, as our testing page explains.
Do it yourself guidance has limits
Cleanup guidance on this site follows EPA public guidance, including the guideline that small areas, under about 10 square feet, can often be handled by a homeowner. Larger areas, growth inside walls or HVAC systems, and any job covered by Florida licensing law should be done by a licensed professional. If you are a tenant, tell your landlord in writing rather than cleaning it yourself; Florida law places duties on landlords that our landlord page explains.
Emergencies
If you have standing water, a burst pipe, or a sewage backup, do not rely on this website. Shut off the water if you can do so safely and call us. Sewage and flood water can carry hazards beyond mold, and those situations need a live response.
